Hello and how are you today. My name is Tracey and I just finished playing all the stickman murder mysteries. They were really fun I started at 1am my time and now it's 5:55am. I wanted to play the last one manslaughter but don't have a credit card so I couldn't play it, but that is not what this e-mail is about. I want you to explain something to me about your afterlife services.
I am a psychic and also do tarot readings but this service you are providing is a very good idea and I know that you are going to make a lot of money good for you I am glad. But I want to know this how can you prove to your paying customers that your terminally ill messengers have actually memorized the telegram, since you say that they want to remain confidential until they die. How can a customer be sure that he is not just paying for the sake of paying. You are the one or someone who works for you is going to call the customer to see for the age or if they are mentally well you know, but how do you prove to them that the messenger has actually memorized the message. I think this site is really cool and it's a shame that I didn't come up with the idea my self. I am a 26 year old married mom of 3 and one on the way, and I made a lot of money doing the psychic chat on the phone and then I got to doing it in private. The funny thing is that I am not lying to them I do have a gift that has been passed from mother to daughter for many generations I just wanted to wish you luck with this venture of yours and and I am not being sarcastic in any way shape or form I just wanted to ask you this question so that when a potential customer asks you you will have had time to think about it since I already asked you. PS. I hope you find more messengers cause I read that you only have one and he/she has a year or less to live. Keep making the money Good Luck.

Dear Tracey,
First of all - Thanks for plugging my other website in your first paragraph. For those readers who do not know, she was referring to my "Stickman Murder Mystery Games" which can be found at: http://www.normandcompany.com/STICKMAN/
Second of all - Your question "...how can you prove to your paying customers that your terminally ill messengers have actually memorized the telegram, since you say that they want to remain confidential until they die" This is a valid question. By law all businesses must actually provide the services and goods that they are paid to supply. For example, let's say someone is a car sales person who takes payment, but intentionally does not provide cars to his customers. This is called "fraud". It won't take long before customers call the police and the salesperson goes to jail.
But what about services that can't or aren't confirmed? For example, if you donate $50 to a charity, how can you be sure the money is not being embezzled? If you own a car repair shop and need to pay to have your spent batteries disposed of legally, how can you be sure the man who picks up your old batteries is not dumping them in a lake? When you buy a bottle of aspirin, how do you know that the aspirin tablets are not sugar pills? One answer is that all businesses are scrutinized by law enforcement, the Better Business Bureau and the media. Sure, the woman who is embezzling from the charity, the guy who throws the batteries into the lake or the company selling sugar pills will get away with it for a while - but sooner or latter someone will catch them. All business people know this and that is part of the reason why very few of them commit fraud.
As I stated in my F.A.Q. - "The messenger's identity will only be revealed after they have passed away. Prior to that, only government officials and consumer protection agencies will be permitted access to the messenger's private information." I know that sooner or later, the government agency that regulates this sort of thing (whether it is the FCC, IRS, BBB or just the local police) will ask/require that I provide proof of my business's legitimacy.
Another reason - a business is only as good as its' reputation. I'm in this for the long term, I have no intention of undermining my own success.
Still need another reason? - My wife would never let me cheat people - she would beat me! : )
